Get your vehicle ready for Uber, Lyft or Hopp
Rideshare drivers may need a current Ontario Safety Standards Certificate when joining a platform or renewing vehicle documents. Requirements can vary by platform and municipality, so tell us where and how you plan to drive when booking.
Our licensed technicians inspect the vehicle against Ontario’s applicable safety standard. If it passes, the certificate is issued electronically. If repairs are required, we explain the failed items clearly and provide a separate quote before any additional work is authorized.
Shah Motors serves rideshare drivers from Mississauga, Brampton, Etobicoke, Toronto, Oakville and the Pearson Airport area.

How long is an Ontario Safety Standards Certificate valid?
